Armin was until recently the head of digital at the Ohlthaver and List group, Namibia’s largest group of companies. He established and build out the digital marketing function at O&L and has more recently introduced digital transformation (DX) to the O&L group and initiated and completed a few digital strategy initiatives in the pursuit to move the business from: “Business as usual” to “innovative and adaptive”.
Armin has turned his passion for digital into a business opportunity and started a full service collaborative digital marketing agency and digital transformation consulting and ideation business – called V5 Digital. He is the founder of braaitime.na, a start-up and trusted trading platform, with the aim to link the farmer and their products directly to the consumer.
Armin is an experienced digital marketer with a demonstrated history of working across industry verticals. He is skilled in digital transformation, customer relationship management (CRM), digital strategy, customer experience, innovation and ideation, marketing automation, business informatics and business processes, break-through start-up entrepreneurship, project, and campaign management.
He likes to keep up to date with everything digital. He is one of only three Namibians that got invited to WPP’s stream Africa unconference for four years running in 2015 to 2018. He is the only Namibian to have attended the world’s largest tech conference – Dreamforce in San Francisco - in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. He attended the customer experience Africa summit in 2017 and 2018 in Cape Town as well as the E-Commerce Africa summit in the beginning of 2018.
Armin holds an undergraduate degree in business informatics from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
