Dr. SAMSON NDHLOVU

Chief of Party, Reach Namibia Project

Dr Ndhlovu is a highly regarded Clinician, Program Manager and Mentor, and has over fourteen years of experience in the field of health, HIV and AIDS programs at different levels. His extensive work experience includes bringing key stakeholders together and building partnerships with governments, development partners, and the private sector. He possesses in-depth knowledge and understanding of HIV/AIDS and TB/HIV priorities, policies, and best practices as it pertains to resource-limited settings.

As a Chief of Party for Reach II project, Dr Ndhlovu leads a program focused on averting new HIV infections among adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) and lessen the impact of HIV on vulnerable children. He ensures that all services are provided in line with national policies, guidelines, regulations while considering the cultural sensitivity of the community. Dr Ndhlovu works closely with national, regional and district level structures of the Ministry of Health and Social Services, Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare; PEPFAR Namibia and other donors; various international and local partners; and community leaders.

Dr. Ndhlovu holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from University of Zimbabwe and a master’s degree in Philosophy: HIV/AIDS Management from the University of Stellenbosch.
