Provision of Integrated, High - Quality Community and Facility - Based HIV and Tuberculosis (TB) Services in Namibia Project

IHN is implementing the Provision of Integrated, High - Quality Community and Facility - Based HIV and Tuberculosis (TB) Services in Namibia project under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in //Kharas and Hardap regions.

Project objectives include:

• Strengthening HIV case finding and linkage to care services;

• Strengthening continuity of adult and paediatric HIV/TB care and treatment;

• Strengthening quality management systems and continuous quality improvement initiatives;

• Strengthening maternal, neonatal, and child health services; strengthen HIV prevention services;

• Strengthening strategic information services for sustained HIV response.

The five-year project will contribute to the country’s capacity to provide high - quality, comprehensive, and integrated health facility - and community based HIV prevention, care, and treatment services.  This is aimed at achieving and sustaining the 95-95-95 targets and epidemic control in Namibia and reduce HIV/TB - related morbidity and mortality. In the process, IHN will enhance individual and health system institutional capacity for HIV/TB response and strengthen the health system to provide quality data and increase data-driven oversight within CDC - supported national and regional programs.
